Bubbles and bling at North Yorkshire award-winning restaurant

Leading independent Harrogate restaurant Sasso cracked open the fizz while customers got into the swing of their Christmas shopping.

The award-winning town-centre eaterie, based in Princes Square, Harrogate, held a ‘Bubbles and Bling’ evening – part of an exciting new series of events staged in one of the Italian restaurant’s private dining rooms.

Harrogate-based retailer Isobel Conneely brought her pop-up shop to Sasso for the evening – and while customers shopped for jewellery and accessories on offer, staff at Sasso served prosecco and delicious canapés.

Family-owned and run Sasso, which has been featured in The Good Food Guide for the past 10 years, has been open in Harrogate for almost two decades.

Owned by Italian chef Stefano Lancellotti, his wife Sara, and her father Brian Ferguson, Sasso has a busy diary of events planned for the coming months.

Said Sara:

We have a couple of private dining rooms at Sasso which are perfect for hosting special evenings and events like these.

We were delighted to hold our Bubbles and Bling evening, which introduced a new audience to our restaurant, enabled people to do some Christmas shopping, and enjoy some of Sasso’s delicious canapés too.

As well as ‘Bubbles and Bling’, Sasso is hosting popular Rat Pack singer Richard Daniels on Wednesday December 14 for an evening of swing music.

La Serata, with a festive theme, will feature all the classic 1950s songs from such icons as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Junior.
